Mo'Nique & WLS? Say It Ain't So...

Celebrity news blog Mediatakeout.com is reporting that the reason comedian and actress Mo'Nique has been incognegro as of late may be that the F.A.T Chance hostess has allegedly had weight loss surgery. If this is true, Mo'Nique would have followed the same steps as Al Roker, Jennifer Holliday and most recently, Star Jones, as celebs that have gone under the knife for new physiques.

Let's hope that if Mo'Nique did have weight loss surgery, she does not try to hide it from her fans like other celebrities have in the past. But the question must be asked: if you are truly happy being a "fat girl", and encourage women to love the skin their in, unless the reasons for having the surgery were medically-related,would Mo'Nique's having WLS diminish her credibility?

Inquiring minds really do want to know...perhaps we will see the answer for itself if a new season of Mo'Nique's F.A.T.Chance airs this summer...
