PLUS Model Radio Hosts 2 Hour Live Telethon to Raise Money for MS
Belle-Noir Magazine is proud to support Plus Model Magazine Editor Madeline Jones on her mission to raise $5000 for Multiple Sclerosis research. On September 7th 2007 Ms. Jones was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and has chosen to live her life to the fullest and support the fight in battling MS. She has formed a Plus Model Magazine team to walk in the NYC MS Walk on April 19th, and Plus Model Radio will be hosting a 2 Hour Live Telethon on April 13th at 9:00pmEST to Raise Money for MS.

"[I am]personally asking all plus size companies, social organizations, modeling troupes, agencies, designers, bloggers, promoters and individuals to call in and give their pledges, no amount is too small!! Let's come together and support Madeline and PLUS Model Magazine with our love, support and donations." says Plus Model Radio Host Chenese Lewis.

QuQu Events to Host Fashion Week 2009 Plus Fashion Event
Fashion Week has been sorely remiss when it comes to including the full figured industry during its seven day celebration of designers and fashionistas. That's about to change. Armed with the mantra, "Big Girls are Doing it For Themselves", QuQu Events will be offering the plus size industry, press and media, an opportunity to see two upcoming designers debut their creations during a fashion show at the The Soho Loft at 199 Lafayette Ave. 3 Floor room 3B, NYC on February 21, 2009.

Elegant ambience, celebrity guests, R&B performers and networking will surround the evening's fashion festivities. Catherine Schuller of CurveStyle: Reshaping Fashion will feature her new book Image Power. There will be a Pre-Show Cocktail Reception for guest & Press at 6:00 pm Runway Fashion Show at 7:30pm
